Sprint names are displayed on the board, can the dates also be configured to be displayed.

We have a naming convention for sprints 1-26 since we have 2-week sprints.

There was feedback, can we add the dates for the sprints, I know I avoided this in the past for a couple of reasons:

• Dates have can convey meaning for external stakeholders who are not on the sprint team, rather than have them focus on business value
• I name sprints 'team-sprint-1' to team-sprint-26 to allow the team(s) to have parallel sprints 'team1-sprint-1'
• Keeping sprint name short within the jira interface
• Sprints can be canceled, replanned restarted and dates can change

When you define a sprint you give it a name, description, and dates, so is there a view option to display the dates in the sprint backlog, and board views for the active sprint

Hello @Neil Wills 

The Sprint dates already show in the Backlog, next to the sprint name.

In the board the sprint dates don't display all the time, but can be seen by hovering your mouse over the Remaining Days display.

thanks for this reminder, just dont like how we append every sprint this card is in when I modify the fields in the card view
