Start and Release date of Releases - Edits not saving

I am trying to update the start and release dates of my releases. 

I manage to update and save the dates on my "first" release and I can see it updating on the screen, but once I make any changes to the next release after that , the "first" release just changes back to dates that have no meaning to me. 

 

Are the dates linked to something that I am not aware of?
