Start date and target state date is locked and not available

I am using the project management template and I think start date and target start date should be available but it shows as "Locked" and is not available. Any suggestions how this might become available?

Hi @Haaris Khan These fields are locked to prevent accidental changes which can subsequently break the operation of JIRA which includes data loss and corruption. Additionally, the locked custom fields are used by JIRA or one of its plugins and modifying it can be harmful to the instance.But you were able to make the field visible on your end through screens.
