Startup script for JIRA v5.0.6 on Ubuntu server 11.10

I'm on Atlassian JIRA v5.0.6 running on Ubuntu server 11.10. On Ubuntu startup, Atlassian JIRA doesn't startup.

I'll like to get help on this.

Hi Kayode,

There are so many options why your JIRA doesn't startup, but I am wondering if you have checked the permissions on JIRA files. Also you can check out some tips in Installing JIRA on Linux.
