Status Report

Hi friends,

It is possible to change the task status in jira automatically when i changed the Epic status in Agile.

Out of the box not. But there is a commercial plugin (available for OnDemand) which can do this .

You could use the transition linked issue postfunction in order to change the status of the linked task.
