Status change seem unidirectional

Chris Archey July 12, 2024

Hello,

I've noticed something and wasn't sure if it's a bug or just designed this way for a reason.

When I update the status in, say an Epic, I can go to the timeline view, hit refresh and I see the update.

It doesn't work the other way. Meaning, if you change the status of an issue in the timeline view, it won't update the issue (Initiative, Epic, Story...).

Bug or feature?

Hello @Chris Archey

Are you referring to the Timeline view available when you are viewing a Plan (from the Plans menu)?

If so, that is intentional, not a bug.

Within Plans it is possible to make changes to see how those changes would affect the plan. These changes are not immediately committed to the issues contained in the plan. You have to click on the Review Changes button in the upper right corner to select which changes you have made in the Plan you want committed to the issues.
