Status re-ordering in JIRA for reporting purpose

Currently, we are using two dimensional statistics view for our reporting purpose and it doesn't give the status as workflow sequence. If we do the re-ordering for the statuses will it reflect in reports ?

A Jira Administrator could try to re-order the statuses via Administration > Issues > Statuses.

Yes, Admin can make this changes. My real concern is does this change really reflect in two dimensional stats reports?
