Stories Disappearing from Active Sprints when Swimlane on Epics

It seems I have run across an issue in JIRA where cards are not displaying how I would on my active sprint board due to the swimlane configuration.
Project - "Tech HQ Network" (ISNTWRK)
Active Sprint - "HQ T1 2023"
Board - "HQ Network"

There are four stories I'm looking at for this issue: ISNTWRK-5494, 5495, 5496, 5497

I know that the query set up for the "HQ Network" board brings them into the Backlog. So far so good.
Going to the active sprint view, those four stories also show up when swimlanes are based on assignees, stories, or no swimlanes are configured. However, basing swimlanes on Epics makes the stories disappear from the active sprint view.

Is this a bug or is this something to do with the configuration settings?

Can you provide screen images that show the issues displaying on the board, and then not displaying on the board when you set Swimlanes to Epics?

What version of Jira are you using?
