Stories on Greenhopper's planning board don't roll up subtask estimates

Maybe there is something I don't understand, but our group applies estimates only to the technical tasks of a story, and almost never to the story itself. This is not a problem when viewing the story in JIRA because of a helpful little checkbox "Include Subtasks" in the issue.

However, when trying to lay out a sprint, the story shows nothing in the little grey circle as shown here:

Is there a way to get this to work?

JIRA Agile does not support rollup of estimates on sub-tasks. There are alot of reading material. You should be able to Google them.

There was so much written on this topic I couldn't sort it all out. Is there I an issue that we can vote on?
