Hello @Omar Mohamed Fathi

Are you wanting to report on Work Logged (time spent) or the difference between the Created Date and the Resolved Date for the issues?

Hello @Omar Mohamed Fathi

I want to be sure I have clarity on your question.

"time spent" can mean two different things.

  1. The difference between two date/time entries, like the date the issue was created, and the date it was closed.
  2. The amount of time a user logged against an issue, representing the number of minutes/hours/days that user was actually dedicating to that specific issue. This information is added by the user using the Log Work option for each issue.

It sounds to me like you are interested in a report for #1. Is that correct?

There is not a built in report for that for Software or Work Management projects, nor a built-in field that tracks that which you could include in Search results.

You could create your own custom field and use Automation for Jira to populate it with the difference between the Created Date and the Resolved Date. You could then include that custom field in the Advanced Issue Search display and in the Filter Results gadget on a Jira Dashboard.
