Story and tasks in current sprint

Hi,

I created one story(A) and 4 tasks under this story. In the current sprint, it shows Story and all the tasks listed so it shows 5 items. However, I created another story(B), it shows only the story in the current sprint view and when you select the story then it shows the tasks under the story on the right side window.  May I understand where I have gone wrong? Story A has all those issues linked with it.

Can you please attach a screenshot? Is there anything else different between the stories and the corresponding tasks(or sub-tasks)? Are the tasks/subtasks for Story B in a status that corresponds to a column on the board?
