Is there a reason that the box notation for a story in a Jira issue is now grey with a circle instead of green with a circle? Now it looks the same as a sub-task sprint bug which is confusing for the team. image.png

Hey @Ashlee Thomilson , welcome to the Community!

The icon associated with a Story, and any other work item, is specific to your instance. In this case, it seems that someone adjusted the icons associated with the story work type, or your administrators performed some other change that affected these icons. I've seen data migrations affect icons in the past, so it could be an unintended consequence.

I would reach out to your admins to see if they can change it back to what you are expecting to see.

Hope that helps!

Robert

Thank you!! Checked in with admins and it was due to migration, so it is all fixed now

Adding to Robert's answer,

Atlassian is also rolling out the 'New navigation experience'.
This UI design update also comes with new icons for your work types.
Something to keep in mind...
