Story points field is no longer getting tracked in Issue History

Hi,

Field update isn't reflecting in History.  how to debug or find out?

Please point me in a right direction.

It appears that another user created a suggestion in order to have Jira keep track of this information over in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-67469

Not all fields in Jira will maintain historical values either in the database or via the JQL searching.   Certain fields like status, resolution, do have historical look ups that can be done via JQL in modern Jira versions.  But this does not extend itself into the estimate fields like story points to the best of my knowledge.
