Hi,

We are working on Kanban board. As per the workflow one of the ticket was closed from Developer's end but got reopened due to some changes and team had to work on it again. Initially, as the ticket was completed, the ticket was having a strike mark but once it is reopened (the ticket is in Backlog state) the strike mark still exists.

Can anyone please suggest how to remove that strike mark...??

You need to clear the resolution field of any data.

Normally, a "reopen" transition will have a "clear resolution" post-function on it, but if an admin builds their own workflow or re-purposes other transitions, they can easily lose it.

Two steps -

  1. Edit the workflow and add a post-function to "re open" transitions - you will need to select "update issue field", then select "resolution" and "none" for the value, then save it (it will display as "clear the resolution", which is slightly confusing as that's not closely releated to the name of the function you've just used)
  2. Close the issue and re-open it

^ To add to this - if you have "Transition to All" transitions on each status, you'll need to add the post-function to each non-Done "All" transition :)
