I am not very familiar with Expr but I have gotten pretty close to what I want in place by reading through https://wiki.almworks.com/documentation/structure/latest/data-center-and-server/formulas-144998671.html and https://wiki.almworks.com/documentation/structure/latest/data-center-and-server/expr-language-141820082.html
However, I can't figure out what to use for "if the field is empty"
I have tried "is empty" "is null" "= """
I have 2 number fields (column A and column B), and I want to create column C that pulls in either value A or B based on whether column A is empty.
basically
column c = value of column A if column A is not empty or value of column B if column A is empty.
can someone please help me. I'm sure it is incredibly obvious.
I didn't find a forum page specifically for the ALM works structure plugin, so feel free to point me to that if they have one instead.
this worked for me, thank you - i had tried undefined as well, but i think i was missing part of the if/else.
if column_A = undefined: column_B else: column_A
