Hello.

I cannot add filter (JQL - issuetype=bug) as quick filter. I do have control access to the Structure.

What could be the problem?1.png

Hello,

Dmitrii with ALM Works here.

Transformations can only be saved in structures and on your screenshot you're applying a transformation to a JQL search result, so there is no 'Save' option.

I've prepared a step-by-step guide for you:

Hope this helps!

Hello Dmitrii.

Thank you, it worked. But I am only able to apply this new filter in "one table" mode, and can't in "two tables" mode on the right table. Is it designed that way because on the right one it's JQL mode and not structure mode?

Hi Ivan,

The right table doesn't contain a structure, that is why you cannot apply the saved filter there.

You can switch JQL to any of your structures in the left top corner of the right table though. Perhaps this can be useful for you.

Even though you can't save transformations on the right panel, you can apply transformations to your JQL search query. It can come in handy quite often.

For example, if you're building your structure manually and you're searching for your epics in JQL, you can use extend transformation to retrieve your stories and the sub-tasks under epics. After that you can copy the whole hierarchy you've just built and paste it to your structure in the left panel. You won't need to extend anything, all sub-levels will be there.

Kind regards,

Dmitrii Kuzmin
