Sub tasks under a Story don't move across the swimlanes when the status of the User Story is changed.

Would you like to provide more information about the issue you have? Any screenshot?

Hey David,

If I create a user story and then have sub tasks under that story, the sub tasks on the sprint board don't move from "In Dev"status to "In QA" or "Resolved" Lanes. The status just changes from "In Dev" to "In QA" without the actual sub tasks moving to that particular lane or column for "In QA".

I understand the user stories don't move across lanes on the sprint board. I need the sub tasks to move across the lanes.

Probably the workflow of the story is not the same as the workflow from the sub-task. If you associate a column with the status of the sub-task you will see the given sub-task at a given status. The stories also can be moved across the column board if the transition is compatible.

In order to see stories and sub-tasks in the board, you need to associate the statuses for both issue types in the board columns.
