Hi, due to a previous mishap, I created the following filter and subscribed to it to know if an issue was added to the sprint without the team knowing. It runs according to the schedule I set but we added an issue yesterday and the count of issues in the subsequent subscription reports didn't change until I modified the schedule and ran it again. The count was correct when I went to the filter. Any thoughts on why this is happening? We host this on our server.
"Scrum Team" = "x" AND sprint in opensprints() and issuetype in (Bug, story)
Hi Julie - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
It sounds like a timing issue to me as to when the subscription ran and when the issue was acced to the sprint.
Maybe run it more than once a day? I see an option for every 3 hours. I know that's a bit much, but it depends on how quickly you want to see that something was added.
Your other option is to have an automation rule that sends you an email when a card is added to the open sprint.
thanks, it comes every three hours and ran several times between the time it was added and when i ran it manually. any clues on how to find out how to run the automation rule you mentioned? that sounds more like what i want.

Well, I forgot that you were on Server, so you with need a plug-in like Automation For Jira or ScriptRunner. I don't use ScriptRunner so I would not be much help with that tool.
