Hello,
I have created one parent task and 5 sub-tasks under this. Unfortunately these sub tasks are not seen on the backlog for the assignee. I already added all these assignee as watcher on the parent task by the way. What do you suggest? How can I make these sub tasks seen on the backlog for the assignee? We use scrum board.
Thank you for your support.
Hello Thomas. Thank you very much for your reply. In this case, what do you suggest? How can we manage the sub-tasks? If we can not see them on our backlog, we can not plan our sprint accordingly:-(

Sub-tasks are part of an issue, you don't plan for them in a sprint.
A sprint contains the list of items you are telling your product owner that you are going to do during the sprint - stories, issues and so-on. Sub-tasks are part of those items, not deliverables themselves. By planning item X into a sprint, you are saying you will deliver it. And hence all of its sub-tasks because they are part of it.
You can see, and re-order, sub-tasks within their parent issue though. Drag and drop on the sub-task panel. But that's irrelevant to the sprint - they're either all in because their parent is, or not in, as their parent is not planned for the sprint.
