Jira Software and JSM are different applications run in same Jira. You can manage & download from settings -> applications -> versions&licenses page.

Should've reworded my question a little better. What is the process and steps need to be taken before fully uploading a Jira Software to the Prod environment? In terms of security, impact and instances that it will yield.
