Suggestion: New Status Category that is Red(ish)

Hi, I'd like to request that there be a new status category (aside from To Do, In Progress, Done) that has a built-in color of Red (or something similar) for statuses that are meant to call attention. Examples are statuses like "Blocked" and "Overdue" that we'd want to stand out visually in lists.

There currently is no support for customizing or adding Status Categories.

Since this is a user community, it is not the best venue for providing suggestions to Atlassian.

If you would like to provide that suggestion directly to Atlassian you could use the Feedback option available under the Help button in the Jira product.

An alternative that works in Agile boards and backlogs is to use Card Colors to set a color band on the right side of the card based on JQL queries.
