Hi,
So my setup is that i have 2 different Jira projects that i am using:
P1: Epics (Stack ranked) and P2: Features (All linked to epics from P1)
I want to make it easier for my product owners to see features related to each epic by using Swimlane function to group them under epics. By using the standard however it only groups under epics under the same project. As my epics are located on a different project i suppose i need a JQL query.
However i do not want to make a query for each epic as these are changing quite often and would lead to a lot of maintenance. What can i do?
Best regards,
Morten
I am in the same boat. I filed a bug report with Atlassian that stories that match board queries will not be visible on a board with Epic swimlanes unless the Epics themselves also match the query.
I think it's incorrect behaviour, but the response from Atlassian was that it was working as expected. If the Epics do not match the filter query, the issues within the Epic cannot be displayed on an Epic Swimlaned board.
