Swimlane Query for Empty Field

The board I am working on has swimlanes that named after our project names.  How to I create a swimlane for tickets where a project has not been selected (as in the project name field is blank)?  Using this as an example, if a swimlane has no tickets that meet its criteria will it still display on the Kanban Board or does at least 1 ticket have to match its criteria to display the swimlane?

The swimlane will not be shown if there is nothing in it - this is for simplifying the display, there's no point showing an empty swimlane, it's of no use to the users.
