Swimlanes on JIRA 4.1

At a client they are using an old version of JIRA (4.1) with GreenHopper 4.1.

I am used to the newer interface and I cannot figure out how to setup Swimlanes - currently, all of my issues are grouped under "Other Issues" - I would like to group them by subissue.

The version of Greenhopper you have is "classic" and does not use the same boards. Your screenshot is a Classic Task Board - not a JIRA Agile Scrum board (introduced in 5.x or 6.x).

Classic features will be depracated over time, and I would suggets pushing your client to the newer versions of JIRA Agile.
