Sync Active Directory with Atlassian Cloud

So I have taken over a cloud instance and I am wondering if there is any way to set up a sync between AD and Atlassian cloud without using the Azure AD?

Hi Andy,

short answer for this simplified scenario would be 'no', unfortunately.

From what I understood you need to connect Active Directory to a supported identity provider.
Apart from that the use case you described requires a subscription to Atlassian Access.
