Dear All,
Is it possible to sync the password from LDAP to Internal Directory?
Please kindly see the example in below image:
Thanks in advance...
Best Regards,
Hi @Great
The directories in Jira are discreet and an LDAP entry will not update users in other directories even if he names match.
The directories do mask each other. i.e. Jira will use the first matching name found based on the order of the directory entries.
If the LDAP directory is first in the list, that is the user record that will be used for authentication and display.
One question - what is the reason for prefer the internal ID to sync over using the LDAP user entries?
Dear @Tom Lister
Thanks for your replied,
Actually, we're using the JIRA almost 5 years and we get the feedback from users that no need to remember a many password.
So, we're try to apply the LDAP directory which as you mentioned...we can not sync the password because JIRA will use ID base on the order of directory.
Best Regards,
