Hi,

after initial synchronization tasks between TFS and Jira, history in TFS was not transferred to JIRA

Any advice is appreciated!

Hi @dalal almutairi ,

Unfortunately at this moment history field cannot be transferred between systems. The main issue is that history in Jira cannot be changed via REST API (which is used by TFS4JIRA).

Aside from that, every other historical data like comments, attachments, and other fields should be transferable over.

TFS4JIRA Cloud Native solution will try to recreate the order of changes in Jira by following the history in ADO. This will not store timestamps of changes, but the order of them will be preserved. Can you tell me what you consider history in this example? Order of changes, time and date of them or something else?
