TIme tracker - User cannot see estimated hours with subtasks but can see overall without any subtask

Hi,
I am having a problem here where a project has been estimated using time tracker.
some of the stories require no sub task and have been estimated at top level, which is showing however the tasks that have hours against them in subtasks which total the total story, doesn't seem to show!
We need these to show.
Help please!
