Hello Aakash,

When using an application you want it to be fast and responsive, yet with modern network speeds being in the hundreds of Mb to GB the speed is sometimes just not there. There are many factors that may cause latency or slowness when accessing a hosted application. Along with this, there are LAN and WAN issues that may cause a specific service to seem slow or unresponsive. With this said, we will need to see what is happening between your site and the product your accessing. We want to check what the response time is between you and the site. To do this, please follow these steps and let us know the results:

  • Mac:
    • Open a terminal window
    • Enter traceroute YourJira.Site.Com
    • Allow it to complete and paste the output of the traceroute
  • Windows
    • Open a command prompt or PowerShell windows
    • Enter tracert YourJita.Site.Com
    • Allow it to complete and paste the output of the tracert

Once we’re able to see the results we will be able to tell if there is a network issue and if a network issue is not present then a possible issue with the product. We would suggest running the above tests while you're experiencing slowness while uploading a file.

We look forward to the results to find the cause of your slow uploads.

Regards,
Stephen Sifers
