Is there a way to use a group mail box or a distribution list to assign as the reporter for a given task? Or is there a way to assign multiple reporters to one task?

Hi Roger,

You cannot do that with the actual Assignee field. But many teams create a new custom field - either a group picker or multi-user picker to populate for multiple people.
