I've setup a project with dedicated issue types and have received the following request for one issue type :
1. Is it possible that USERS see ALL the fields of this issue but for customers that we generate a reduced view (in whatever way) showing only certain fields.
2. In this reduced view it would be important to see the status of all subtasks related only to issues of this issue type so that the subtasks are grouped and shown with their parent issues. The parent and subtasks should also show assignee and due date.
For 1. I could just setup a filter but I can't work out how to add the subtasks for a single issue type to the query ?
Do you have any better suggestions as to how this might be done ? It seems so obvious that you would need a view of all tasks and subtasks with due dates and assignees.
