Team field is not populated - displays error" No option"

Hello, Team.
We are having the Team field option in Jira not being populated, instead seeing only "No option" and "Create Team" at the bottom.
Can somebody help us with this?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Your post Deployment Type tag says Cloud, but in your other tags you added "data center". Are you using Jira Cloud or Jira Data Center?

Have you created Teams in your Jira instance? Can you provide a screen image as evidence that Teams have been created?

Can you provide a screen image of what you are seeing?

Here is the image and we have an active Jira instance for the organization. 
below is the snap shot of the error which is not displaying the team name as GMAT in the options, This was available till yesterday and today we get to see as " No Option".
Not sure if there was an update or issue which is global.

Can you provide a screen image from the Teams area showing that the GMAT team actually exists?

Are other users having the same experience?

Have you tried

- clearing your browser cache,

- a different browser app,

- or a private browser window?

Before I can begin the troubleshooting steps, it appears that the problem has been rectified.
Yes, most of the projects had the same issue, which is now resolved.
