Teams does not view my default dashboard

Alan Bouteiller November 18, 2021

Okai, first thing first, I use Jira from only one month.

This is jira cloud.

I have a default dashboard

And an organization with 10 members (in https://admin.atlassian.com/).

Only my account have the possibility to view the default dashboard.

My account is set like that

And the other account like that

In site access the domain of my enterprise is accepted.

**Edit** : I discovered that one guy in my team actually see the dashboard but not the others...

**Edit 2** :

To see the dashboard users had to:
- click on "dashboard" in the top menu
- click on see all dashboards
- click on "default dashboard"
- and "voila" the dashboard is visible in the menu and the user can see it

Convenient...

I'm absolutly lost in the setting of jira, option and access setting has everywhere I have no idea who to solve my problem.

Thanks in advance for any help. Fell free to ask for more informations.

Hi @Alan Bouteiller ,

This is your "Default Dashboard", if you need that all user or any new user can see a specific dashboard you need set a "System Default Dashboard".

Hi @Alan Bouteiller Welcome to Community!

By default your dashboard is private. In order to make it visible to your teammates, please follow below steps to share:

  1. Click on Default Dashboard from your first screenshot.
  2. Then on Dashboard page in top right corner, please click on Rename and Share under elipsis. Please refer below screenshot

3. In Viewers, select group and choose jira-software-users in next box. Please refer below screenshot.

4. Click on Add and then Save as highlighted in above screenshot.

Now your dashboard will be visible to your teammates as well with dashboard url.

Hope this helps.

@Alan Bouteiller In this case, you can choose to copy this board and follow above steps to share new board with your team if that's feasible.

Ok I test that. If this works, what the purpose of the default dashboard actually ?

Update : I discovered that one guy in my team actually see the dashboard but not the others...

I found the problem in my second edit, thanks for the response.
