Tempo Adjustment

Hello, 

I need to adjust hours for a close period.  Is it possible to enter a negative time entry in the current period to adjust the time in question?  What other solutions are there beside opening the original period to make the adjustment?

Negative entries are not allowed.  Jira Admin can reopen the time period and time can then be adjusted and then resubmitted.  My concern is keeping track of time adjustments like this.  How do we track and export the changes for billing adjustment purposes?
