Tempo REST API does not provide billing account information

Tim Owen April 1, 2020

Until yesterday (April 1 2020) I was using the Tempo Servlet API which gave me access to the client account info to which a work log was logged. I had access to account category, and account detail such as account code, client name etc. This API has now been removed.

I HAVE to have these details but as far as I can determine, there is no way to get this using the REST API.

I am using this endpoint: api.tempo.io/core/3/worklogs?limit=10

Any suggestions?

Hi @Tim Owen ,

To comply with Atlassian’s security requirements for cloud applications we had to decommission the Tempo Servlet.

The Account information can be retrieved via Tempo REST API, but it will require the use of a different API to get this information ( it is not possible to retrieve all information that was returned by the Servlet with a single REST API call).

Please take also a look at https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CLOUDNEWS/pages/763691139/2020-04-01+Tempo+has+Decommissioned+the+Servlet+API for more information.
