Tempo Timesheet required Account field not in editing screen

Hello Tempo Users and Team

We recently added the Account field as a required field in the tempo My Work/Calendar view, so that the screen to log the work shows it and you have to pick one.

That feature is great since I expect to have less logs without account behind it.

However if I try to edit a certain log from lets say the last day. That Account field is empty again. And its even empty if the issue has a default Account. If I then try to save, it asks for the Account, which is not very user friendly.

The log however is correct. We are exporting all the logs, and they look fine.

Hi @Patrick Joerg ,

Can you please inform us about the version of Tempo Timesheets you are using as the problem you describe sounds like a bug that was fixed in Tempo Timesheets 10.16.1.

Hi @Susanne Götz _Tempo_

Thanks for replying. Now that you mentioned it, i went to the manage apps page and tried to upgrade it. But it showes only that there is a update available but i can't start, nore can I open the description for it.

Other apps still work. Maybe thats not a Tempo issue, however i can't tell you the version because of that right away. I do see the Tempo Plugins, which are on v6.17.1 if that tells you something.

We recently are updating our Plugins, so we shouldn't be too fare behind, but mea culpa if I am pointing to something that is already solved...

Hi @Patrick Joerg

The version 6.17.1 is the version of one of the Tempo system plugins. This is connected to Tempo Timesheets 10.17.1.

As you can not open and view the description of the Tempo Timesheets part, can you please restart JIRA and check if the information is then available.

Best regards,
Susanne

I restarted Jira but that didn't help neither, nor did a reindex.

Well I didn't intend to change subject here. So basically I should be on the new version right? I will have to dig in deeper to find out what is different here.

Do you have any hints?

Hi @Patrick Joerg ,

Not really, but it might be easier to follow up on this in our Tempo Support system. Can you please create a ticket there (https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/6) and add some screenshots.

It might also be useful to get a log and har file when you open the Edit worklog screen and the Account value is empty (see https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/generating-har-files-and-analyzing-web-requests-720420612.html for information on how to generate the har file).

Best regards,
Susanne
