Pavel Kolmagortsev June 21, 2023

Hello,

I suddenly found out that Tempo Timesheets user logs time by itself

I didn't create this user, moreover it is not available in the User management.

I found the way how such a strange statistics was made

Is there any way to get rid out of it? How users can take back the hours taken by Tempo Timesheets user?

Tempo Timesheets is the "app user".  App users are not displayed in the normal user management.

Regarding your problem, I would contact the Tempo Timesheets support for help.

Hi @Pavel Kolmagortsev

This is the expected behavior when you are viewing worklogs that were created in Tempo in a JIRA view (e.g., the History tab of the issue, as shown in one of your screenshots).

When logging time in Tempo, the worklog is stored in the Tempo database. The information is synced to the JIRA database, but the worklog author and worklog description are anonymized.
Please take a look at Why do the Jira worklogs appear with the author Tempo Timesheets instead of the user's name? for more information.

Best regards,
