Hello ,

I want to know the best practices of Jira Agile project and its related test management approach . In one project we can create Issues of type stories and bugs to which we can link along . Also there are add ons available e.g.Zephyr . I want to know that having Zephyr addin , will it enable us to relate / link test cycles , bugs with the project an Agile scrum project or Zephyr works independently ?

What we are looking forward to is that we use agile approach and our test management has complete visibility of that agile project. Need guidline please.

Hi Aamer,

You can surely create new Issue Types and Custom Fields in your instance and associate them to whatever issue types and screen you want them to be displayed on.

Uptil now I have understood that I could create custom Issue Type say Test Case ,can I also add custom fields for this custom issue type ...If yes , this can lead atleast to manage test cases with in Agile scrum project then other areas related to test management will be need to looked at e.g. how to run test cases iterations with in the sprint and extract custom reports that could segeregate bugs category say GUI , Business Logic related with relevant severities (Severities I have seen can be catered for) ....anyone please respond if has tweaked test management with in agile scrum or suggest what could be the best way.
