I am new to JIRA software. I tried to install the trial version of th eJIRA software and Zephyr to work on Test cases.
After installation, I couldn't find the issue type of Test. So I created the new one and added it to the project.
I created an issue and tried to edit the issue to include the test steps, test data and expected results. However, the issue does not display any test related fields.
Tried the general configuration for Zephyr but the new issue type is not listing.
Also when I try to link the other issues to this field, it is still not showing the test case field options.
Can you guide me through on how to resolve this issue? As I am on the trial version, I would appreciate if someone could help me out ASAP.
Thanks in advance.
Attached the screenshot of my test issue.
1. Go to the project settings >> Click on Issue Types >> Edit Issue Type
2. Add Test issue type to the current scheme
3. Now create issue with issue type Test, then you can see the test steps
If Test issue type is not showing means plugin not installed properly
@jagadeesh madhura - the issue type "Test" is available in my current scheme.
This is for the Zephyr on JIRA Cloud.
My problem is that the created test does not show the "Test details" field to include the test steps, test data and expected results.
Since I am on trial version, not sure if downgrading by uninstalling the app is the best option.
Based on the Atlassian community discussions, few others too have this issue.

1.Once you install Zephyr it will create default issue type "Test", so please delete the manually created "Test" issue type from your issue type schema
2.Test Detail section will display only for the "Test" Issue type. From your 1st screenshot it looks like you have created a issue type of "Task".
3. Create a issue with issuetype " Test" and check for the Test details section.
If you are still facing the issue please reach out to our support and our support team will help you by debugging further

As suggested, I deleted the issue type of Test that I created manually.
Created an issue with issue type Test. Still I couldn't find the test details section.
I created a case for the issue as suggested.
Thanks

No need to create any issue type you should use the created one by zephyr and from your picture it seems like installed successfully.
check the created issue type and be sure it is linked to your project issue type scheme
