Dear Friends,

I would like to know, is there a posibility to take backup of JIRA Software without project data.

My Test Case :

I have JIRA Software 7.1.9 Production. I can take backup of JIRA software with data (Scheduled). The server is powerful enough to handle with SQL Data.

For testing additional add-on and I am using Developer License. Test machine is a regular PC. With huge/large SQL data, system is not able to load  fast as Test JIRA Software is configured to use default database(HSQL).

If I am able to restore the existing setup to new test setup without projects data , system will load fast and I can create projects whatever is required.

Is there a way to achieve this?

Thanks and Regards,

Sivarama Krishna K

You'll need to use one of the Apps that extracts and transfers the project/system configuration only.

The two I've used are Botron's Configuration Manager and Adaptavist's Project Configurator (as you'd expect, as I work for Adaptavist)
