The articles available in my confluence space are no longer accessible through the service dewidget

I deleted the home page of the linked knowledge base space in confluence and now none of the articles in that space are searchable in the widget. 

When I look a the Project settings on my service desk project it all looks to be configured well.  

Does there need to be a home page on the confluence space for the widget?

Do I need to move the pages in the confluence space to a new "parent" page?
