One of my teams have just reported that they can't edit a description field anymore.
I've verified:
-their permission scheme, they have their permissions correct
-their Field Screen for Editing, "description" is added,
-the field configuration is enabled for this project,
-the 'configure fields' option on the edit screen, it is already selected.
The field works while creating an issue and it appears on the ServiceDesk view inside the project.
It even have the edit button appearing, but once clicked it opens the Edit Issue screen where the field is missing.
The "where is my field?" helper says that it should appear on the screen.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this problem?
HI @Nathan Vinicius Vital Santos
See the issue type screen schem, what kind of issue type is the issue and check the screen scheme used on the issue type, then check the screens in the screen scheme and validate that the description field is on the edit screen.
Or check the system fields section in Jira administration and see if there are any context set on the field description that coudl cause this.
I've done that, the issue type have the Description field on it's view/edit screen already.
There's 0 contexts for this field on the admin field.

Hi @Nathan Vinicius Vital Santos
Do you have apps such as Scriptrunner. Someone may have created a Behaviour that hide the field on the edit screen.
Regards
