The resolution of Miramar tickets changes to 'Fixed' whenever the ticket is edited

Observed behavior

When a ticket is edited (by selecting the 'Edit' button) for the first time, the resolution is getting updated to 'Fixed'.

Expected behavior

The Resolution field should not be changed on the edit issue it only change when we move from one status to other

Yep, that's the expected behaviour.

You need to remove the resolution field from the edit screen - it is not supposed to be used there.

Hi @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-  If I remove the resolution filed from the edit field it will resolve the issue?

Hi @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-  If i am removing resolution field from screen than it also not visible on create screen we need resolution filed on create screen it is ok if we remove from edit screen

Removing the field from the screen will stop more issues becoming fixed on edit.

As for the create screen, no, you absolutely do not want the resolution on the create screen.  Unless you really do want to always create issues that are closed and need no more attention?
