The specific control for the status with a specific group

A new status (i.e Bugs) would be created. How to set up the specific control for this status with a specific group?

Here is the situation :

If i want to limited the permission to turn the status. Only IT group can change the status [Bugs] to [In progress].

Hi,

you can add condition in workflow's transition, create group-add members then select the condition mentioned in attachment

Note:- you should have admin rights to edit workflow

You can use workflow conditions to restrict the users/groups from transitioning the issue status. Set the condition to "User Is In Group".
