I use plans with a filter. The filter shows all workitems of one epic.

I can see and work with them in the time line and in  program, but when I open the summary it will find 0 workitems and it mentions I need to add them.

How can I make the summary use the workitems in my plan?

Hello @e.stuifbergen

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

I had to look at the Help feature to find information on the Summary view for a Plan.

With the Summary tab displayed click the Help button near your avatar (the button with the question mark). That will show a few articles related to Plans and a link to view more articles.

Click on Show 7 more articles and then scroll through the list to find What is the summary view of your plan?

Click on that for more info about the Summary view. Included in that is the guidance that the Summary tab shows only the issues that have a Start date or Due date within the date range specified in the upper left corner.

It doesn't show information for all issues in the plan, by default.
