The timeout issue while modify dependency/duration on WBS

I have a project over 8500 issues and another is over 3000 issues , and both projects  keep growing. 

While modify/add dependency on issue on WBS , it take over 15 mins or longer and even crashed.  Do you have any solution to fix or mitigate this timeout problem?
