The user does not have permission to log work on destination project

Hello,

 I am working on tempo timesheet plugin.

when i am trying to enter the time in the ticket. i am getting this error [ The user does not have permission to log work on destination project ].

I have updated view team and manage team worklog  Permissions. But still i am getting same error.

Can you please help me on this issue.

Hi @vishvam_bodduna

All users who need to log work on issues within a specific project need to have the "Work on issue" permission for it. 
This also applies when you are a team lead and are logging time for a team member. If the member does not have this permission, he can not log work for himself and his team lead can not do it for him.

I just came across this problem and have another possible solution for anyone searching.

A user was getting the same error message, but when I was using the permission manager on the project, it said the user was allowed to log time to that issue.

What I realized was on the workflow for that issue, we have a setting to disallow time tracking in the Done status. (The property "jira.permission.work.denied" is on that status).

You might need to see if something similar is blocking you!
