There is a Due field and a Due Date field in my config, yet I don't see Due in my field config

I have a situation where I have a Due field and a Due Date field. The Due field appeared out of nowhere and populated the below due date. 

There isn't a Due field in any of my field configurations. 

This is all that comes up for Due. A client wants it removed as it is confusing to the developers and yet I don't see a way to potentially remove this.

you can try looking  your screen scheme and screen configuration?

The fields visible are controlled by screen configuration, and it should be the view screen

Field configruations control what is required /not required/ renderers etc

That was one of the first areas I checked and I went through all the screens and configurations to be safe and did not find that field. It's the weirdest damn thing I've ever seen with this program.

I should also add that this field cannot be edited.
