There is no way to assign a workflow to next-gen projects?

dmitriko March 15, 2019

I Jira's docs we have here https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/managing-your-workflows-776636587.html there is a section called "Associating a workflow scheme with a project" but I don't any of mentioned options on the project settings screen. See the video - https://monosnap.com/file/4CLOEPXMtjpRGUQUxLQNpu10v8SvmE

I want to have several of my new "next-gen" project use "classic" workflow I've created 2 years ago so my dev team will be not confused. Is this possible?

Hi @dmitriko ,

As far as I know, there is no function to extend the workflow configuration in the next-gen projects. You can match the original state by the settings of the board column.

This part of the function may be added in subsequent versions. Please pay attention to the following roadmap.

Indeed NG projects are 'workflow-less'. The underlying code is very different from that which drive Classic projects.
