Dear community,
We are working on JIRA Cloud Version.
We are having a Board (Scrum) for the Development team with the status Open, in Progress, in Review, Done.
We would like to have second Board (Kanban) which allows us to show all tickets that are manually moved to "In Testing" after it has been brought to "Done" in the teams board.
I already created both boards and configured the workflow that shows Open, in Progress, in Review, Done, in Testing, Tested in both boards.
As soon as I switch the Status in the team board to "in Testing" the ticket disspears instead of appearing on the second - the testing board.
I keep reading I have to set a filter on the testing board but I do not know what is ment by this and how to do this.
So in general: can someone help me how to set it up that tickets do not clone themselves to another board but show up on a second board as soon as the status switches to "In Testing"
Thank you so much for you help, much appreciated.
Hey @Miriam Grühn
If you want your tickets to be displayed on your Kanban board once they're moved to 'In Testing' status, you need to modify its filter (as you already pointed).
Here are the steps:
I hope this helps.
Thanks!
Dear Karan,
thank you so much. This already helped a lot and I set the filter on the Kanban board as you requested.
Unfortunately it is still not working.
Do you have any other reasons in mind why it is not working yet?
When I move a ticket into "In Testing" it says:
Which I understand because on the Scrum board there is no "In Testing" status but it wont show up on the Kanban Board either.
Thank you so much

Hey Miriam,
Can you please navigate to Board Settings > Columns and check the status mapping?
If the 'In Testing' status is available in the "Unmapped Status" section on the left side, work items won't be visible.
You can drag and drop it into one of the columns for it to show on the board.
Thanks!

Hey Karan,
I checked this and it is all correctly set up.
Thank you

Those are the 2 most common causes for this message.
Are you able to view the newly created work items in the List view or in the issue search?
If not, it's related to permissions. If yes, I'd suggest creating a support ticket so the team can help further.
